How to make a menu QR code

  1. Upload your menu somewhere online: your website, a Google Drive PDF set to "anyone with the link", Instagram highlights, or your delivery app page.
  2. Paste that link into the generator.
  3. Add your logo and brand colors, and keep the "Scan for menu" frame so guests know what to do.
  4. Choose the print size, download, and test it on two different phones before printing all your table cards.

Plan for menu changes

A regular QR code always opens the same link. The easiest way to update prices without reprinting is to keep the link the same and replace the file behind it, for example by updating the same Google Drive file or the same page on your website. Rumooz Pro, coming soon, will let you change where a printed code points at any time.

Good sizes for restaurants

Make it easy to scan

Dim restaurants and glossy lamination are the two most common reasons codes fail. Use matte lamination, keep strong contrast, and avoid placing the code on a curved surface like a glass.

Frequently asked questions

Is a menu QR code really free?

Yes. Rumooz codes are free with no account and no expiry date. Your code keeps working as long as the link it opens keeps working.

Can I update my menu without reprinting the code?

Yes, if the link stays the same. Replace the file or page behind the link and the printed code shows the new menu.

Can I put my restaurant logo in the middle?

Yes. Use Add logo in the design step. Rumooz automatically raises error correction so the code still scans with a logo.

What should the menu link be?

Any public link works: your website, a PDF, an Instagram page, or a delivery app such as Talabat or Careem. Make sure it opens without a login.
